baREUcuda

I am the Student Principal Investigator (SPI) of the Group. The members of this group are Will, Chase, and Geoff.

The CUDA programming language offers new opportunities to a field regarded by many to be fairly difficult—parallel programming. Through a simple framework that comparable to Google’s recent (over hyped) map reduce frame work, we can identify certain components in a serial program and parallelize them.

Celestial Mechanics

Will is the SPI of the group, since he is doing celestial mechanics. I'm in the group because my project revolves around the Navier Stokes equations (i.e. mechanics).

Drag on Ball Z

The so called Schaberization of CUDA programs. FluidsGl, SimpleGL, and Mandelbrot have all been Shaberized.

illiNav

Sam is the SPI of the group, since he is interested in lookahead. I'm in the group because I have to use the WiiMote as an interface to CUDA. I have yet to do anything with this project.

Katie Poon's Project

Katie is the SPI of the group. It is unclear what the project entails, however.

John Pacey's Project

John Pacey is the SPI of the group, and he is creating a geometry drawing program with non-euclidean capabilities (in Java Applets [sigh]).

igl2ogl

This project is used to learn openGL, and no one is the SPI.
