 Visualization plays a huge role in understanding--after all, "a picture is worth a thousand words." This project takes the idea to heart as it seeks to create a user-controlled drawing program that can be implemented in three dimensions. Instead of penning a two-dimensional line on a flat piece of paper, the wielder of the wand--the remote interface of the BIC cube--would form curves and shapes that exist in an immersive world. Moreover, instead of being required to program discrete codes in order to view an object of interest, the user could simply draw the object in the air. |
