An Audio Visualizer With Quicktime And SZG

In order to find the SZG libraries at run-time, the application must be run from within the EZSZG shell (or at least from a shell with enough environment variables set correctly). Apple's X server (X11) must also be running.

 

In order to see standard output, I start the application like this:

 

SZG-1.0:stolrsky@arh2327:~
::Synesthesia.app/Contents/MacOS/Synesthesia

 

The Apple window and X11 window are initialized:

 

 

 

 

Finally, open an audio file (File -> Open) and enjoy.
