So I looked through the Jones-McKenzie by-hand-implementation of OpenGL
vector and matrix operation. Looks "complete" but unsophisticated and
at times naive translation of OGL functions into BASIC style implementation.
Each dimension is treated separately, and can be separately used.
The 4D section does some quaternions but the authors do not understand
the quaternion representation of the Euclidean group. So this could be
a really nice project for a math major to "clean up" and "rationalize".

Brendan Jones [aka toji] (and Colin McKenzie) are the authors of

It is the entire mini code that Zach put into oc1.html. But the
maxi version is quite readable.
