Real-time Interactive Visualization and Sonification with jReality Peter Brinkmann, Department of Mathematics, CCNY, brinkman@sci.ccny.cuny.edu I will introduce jReality, a Java library for real-time interactive visualization and sonification originally designed for mathematical applications, including noneuclidean geometries. Applications written for jReality will run unchanged on software and hardware platforms ranging from desktop machines with a single screen and stereo speakers to immersive virtual environments with motion tracking, multiple screens with 3D stereo projection, and multi-speaker setups for spatialized audio. I will present an overview of the capabilities of jReality as well as a discussion of its design, with an emphasis on the recently added audio components.
