19feb12 A so-called "bin" directory contains files which are particularly useful for present purposes, whatever they are. In Syzygy, for example, bin/ directories contain the binary exectable files of interest. In Unix home directories, the bins tend to have tools of various kinds. Here, for example, the Unix "delouse" script waits for a Windows equivalent, yet to be written. It's purpose is to remove all .svn file in a "subversioned" file tree.
