(D)elta influences the gaps between the panels, The (h)omotopy demo shows some possibilities, and (f)reezing the motion allows mouse to move far away. Navigation is discrete, one unit at a time. Forward/backward in the direction of view is on the middle/shift-middle mouse button. Hither and yonder in the 4th direction is on the s/S key. Mouse right/left, fore/aft turns in the current 3D slice. Arrow right/left, up/down turns into the fourth direction.
