About me

I am a senior student in the department of Mathematics at UIUC. I expect to graduate in June 2011 with a B.Sc. degree in Mathematics. Before I come to Champaign, I studied chemistry at Peking University.

My hometown is Shenzhen, the youngest and forth biggest city in mainland China. It is in the south of China and just a little bit north to Hongkong.

I like collecting coins and listening to both classical music and “pop” songs. My favorite American singer is Willie Nelson. (I know it is weird, haha!)

Education

09/2008-present   University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Urbana, IL

Undergraduate Study with Major in Mathematics.

09/2006-06/2008  Peking University, Beijing, China

Undergraduate Study with Major in Chemistry.

Research Interest

My current research interest is applied mathematics, especially in modeling and simulating the real world problems with mathematical tools. Currently I am working on the stochastic neural network with Prof. Lee DeVille.

Previously, I also worked on some chemistry projects mainly in the methodology research in organometallic catalytic reaction.
