Class01 Directory

Here are answers to frequently asked questions and other correspondence of general interest. An informal introduction to Math 198: Hypergraphics also recalls the brief but illustrious history of the UIMATH.Applelab.

You'll need to visit this directory often during the course not just because you can't absorb it all in one sitting, but because mistakes happen and will be corrected promptly. Nor is it all in the can yet, so new items will appear.

The BASIC Pocket Graphics Programs is a .pdf file you can read on the web. You can print a hard-copy from your browser or download a copy for your off-line perusal.

The files for the Sierpinski Gasket lesson, the Lorenz Mask and for Logistic Chaos now run in Windows. They (re)compile with the Visual C++ compiler. See run.bat and win.mf for a clue on how to compile these on other platforms with OpenGL and GLUT. Please let us know how you compiled them on other platforms.

The remaining lessons and exectuables for Linux and Irix will follow.

Here are the .zip files for efficient downloading.
