This document is meant to clarify some of the inaccurate statements that I have stated in a presentation on June 25th. It addresses only the theoretical ideas behind cellular automata and lattice gases. The [implementation] document is more suited if you are interested in understanding the programs I have written, or how to write a lattice gas CA on your own.
